What do you think it means when you have the constant urge to update your Facebook status or Twitter?
I read that a survey showed that narcissistic people spend the most time on Facebook. I personally check it to read other peoples status’ and links most of the time. I check it a lot when I’m on the computer because I have nothing to do and want to kill time. I do have the urge to share things and update my status often, but I try to restrain myself to once a day. Honestly, it’s because I’m so self conscious about people judging me.
Lately though, I just feel like updating when I feel like I have something clever or witty to say about my day or what I’m doing. I guess when I’m bored. It’s never anything like “I’m bored,” or “Eating dinner.” But then sometimes I feel like I want other people to read and give me feedback or notice me. What does that say about me? WHAT HAS FACEBOOK DONE TO ME.
I love your question, may I get dirty here? I think it means either 2 things, #1 the person is so conceited and self obsorbed that they think the wqorld revolves around them and if they dont update frequently, the stock market might crash, OR they are extremely lonely and want to see if anyone is paying attention or cares about them enough to comment.
