Why hasn’t my Twitter profile picture updated yet?
I added a profile picture (or avatar) to my Twitter account today, then updated it to change the background colour. Whilst I can see the new picture on my profile on the Twitter website, the image has not been updated on the Twitter widget I have on my own personal website. In fact, all I can see is a placeholder as if the image cannot be found.
I updated it several hours ago, so I’d have thought if it was due to a cache problem, it would be working by now.
Should I just keep waiting?
I’ve already tried Ctrl+F5, but the problem is not related to the local machine. I’ve now experienced the problem on my work PC and my home PC under both Windows and Linux.
