I used the Twitter widget on my site and, sometimes, it takes it too much time to load…?
I used the Twitter widget on my site. Usually, it doesn’t take it too much time. But sometimes, when Twitter is overloaded, it makes my site load at a slower pace. Usually (when Twitter is not overloaded) it takes my site one second to load. But when Twitter is overloaded, it took it almost 20 seconds!!! I really don’t want to give up this Twitter widget. Did any of you experience the same problem? What can I do?
I used to have the same problem with a feed from my Facebook. It has to do with the connection from Facebook’s (or in your case Twitters) servers. Theres not a whole lot you can do if you want to keep the widget.
I dropped mine and just put an icon link back to my page.
