What are some programs i can make twitter backgrounds on?
Hello, I’m working to start up a small side business at the moment creating twitter backgrounds for businesses and personal accounts.
I am on the lookout for some inexpensive or free reliable programs that I can create nice looking background on such as the ones listed on this page:

From what I understand, he is using Photoshop, which I cannot afford. Perhaps if.when my business grows I can buy it then. I do have adobe photoshop element… would that work???
I just need people’s recommendations on free.inexpensive programs I can get. Thanks to much!
Yes, you can do these backgrounds with Elements but the fact that you had to ask makes me think you don’t have enough experience/skill with the program to do original designs – yet. The better you know the program and what it can do, the more creative you can be wtih it.
There are book-CD packages of royalty-free designs. If you have any large bookstores nearby – Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc. – go browse through their Art/Design sections. Dover has a ton of CD packages. You’ll also need some brushes, custom shapes, textures, etc. You’ll also want to download some plugins that will give Elements more Photoshop functionality. You’ll especially need a plugin that will allow you to seamlessly tile designs.
You seem to have the ambition and initiative…Now’s the time to practice, practice, practice and output all the designs you’ve got forming in your head;-) Good Luck!
