Why are people closing their PayPal accounts?
It’s becoming a trending topic on Twitter as #OpPayPal I see it has something to do with WikiLeaks, can you please explain?
Paypal quit accepting donations to Wikileaks so a group of people launched ddos attacks on their website which brought their servers down for a short period of time and made their website unavailable. Now some of the attackers (I’ve heard around 14) are facing fines up to $500,000 and jail time up to 15 years. In response to this, the group anonymous is asking users to boycott paypal by closing their accounts.
