Blackberry Curve 8520 – apps prob.?
I’ve just bought the Blackberry Curve 8520 and downloaded the Twitter app. Everytime i try to log in it says ‘twitter services are currently unavailable’. I’ve searched the net to see if i can find anyone else with the same problem and get the impression i need the data plan for this to work?
What is the data plan? I’ve read somewhere that without this you wont be able to get on the internet or use the Blackberry messenger…i havent tried the messenger but i have been able to get on the internet and have used facebook, twitter, google etc.
If i do need the data plan do i just get this from my service provider? I have been looking at getting unlimited internet for £5 for my phone, will this include the data plan or will it be something completely different i need to buy?
You do need a data plan to use the apps.
You can use wifi to use the web based service for them but the apps won’t work without a data plan.
