It’s more of an example of of European conservatism and thinly veiled anti-Muslim sentiment. They can say it’s about freedom and equality, but let’s be honest… nothing says equal rights and freedom for women like a law prohibiting what they can wear in public, right?? On the bright side, I guess we don’t have a monopoly of hypocrisy here in the US.
