Which blog-hosting website is more customizable?
blogger or wordpress?
I don’t want my blog to look like everyone elses’, but I’m not tech-savvy enough to write full pages of XHTML. Changing the background colour in xhtml format is about where my expertise ends.
These are the features I’m hoping to include on my blog…
- Tabs that look like those on a recipe card or file folder (for switching between the main and auxiliary pages like ‘about me’, ‘home’ and ‘blog’)
- a profile picture that appears on the sidebar of the main page
- a twitter box that automatically updates with my tweets on the sidebar of my main page
Are any of these pre-set features on blogger or wordpress? And if not, do you know of any good (read: user friendly!) resources I can use to learn how to alter the xhtml to format these changes?
If you want to own such a customizable blog you must pay for it. You need a web host supporting WordPress.

Hope this helps.
