What does the # sign in front of certain names on twitter mean?
Just wondering why it’s there
also, if anyone knows what the RT that you sometimes see in a post means?
not really sure about the # thingy.
But RT means retweet.
Like for example “RT I am hungry! ( via @someone) ME TOO!”
(You are the one saying “ME TOO”, while “I am hungry” is said by another person. It’s like repeating the tweet that someone has already tweeted and you are kind of like replying.)
Hard to explain ugh.
