Unable to login to Twitter?
Hello everyone, recently I have encountered some weird problem when trying to log in to Twitter via its website (www.twitter.com).
After typing in my username and password and clicking Log In, I am presented with a blank white screen with no top Twitter navigation bar or whatever, its just plain white.
But if I change the http://www.twitter.com to a HTTPS connection like https://www.twitter.com, my Timeline pops up and I’m able to use Twitter. But I can’t do this on a normal HTTP connection.
This seems to happen with all the browsers on my computer (IE, Chrome and Firefox). The weird thing is that I am able to use other clients and my iPhone to log into Twitter.
Anyone can shed some light on my problem? Many thanks in advance!
it’s a known problem. when we encounter the problem, twitter suggests us to do the following actions:
1. clear your cache and cookies
2. make sure javascript is enabled
3. make sure you are not running any add-ons, scripts or plugins
4. Refresh the page
5. Try using https://www.twitter.com instead of http://www.twitter.com
or just upgrade your browser to newest version.
