My login details keep reseting?
usually when i log into things e.g facebook, yahoo, twitter, youtube etc it stays on that account until i log off or turn off my laptop. now for some reason they all log out when i close internet explorer. this only started to happen yesterday. restarting laptop didnt help. is it because i cleared my cookies? i need a quick fix now please and also no-one answer with changing browser, that isnt happening. also i am sure im not being hacked as all accounts with different emails and passwords all go at the same time. norton picks up no viruses
i also click all remember me boxes but it makes no difference
i have history deleting on exit but it has been like that for more thena year and this problem only started occuring last week
how to i get this back to normal. statements on what i done wont help
Yes it is. Your cookies retain the Information to activate the auto log into any site.
Starting from scratch go through this ► Internet Options ► Content ► AutoComplete ► Settings ► Make sure there are ticks in “Forms” “Username & passwords on forms” “Ask me to save Passwords” ► OK ► Trot along to Advanced ► Scroll down to Security ► Make sure there is NOT a tick in “Empty Internet File folder when Browser is Closed” [it will also clear your cookies as well] ► Apply & OK
If you clean out your old internet files using Internet Options then when you click on Delete Browsing History and the next panel comes up, REMOVE the ticks from “Cookies” “Forms” and “Passwords” before you press the “Delete” button.
