How could anyone support the gop “plan” that lead to the Tea Party downgrade?

Now it’s a known fact that the Tea party is so radical it’s out of control. The people know it, the polls show it and they are very unpopular with ‘Joe Public’ as I type.
Obama’s lot has increased by 9 points to 49% and the republicans are being rejected by 59%.
I think the people know exactly what’s going on.
