I need advice on what to do?
There is this girl who is so popular and well known all over the internet. She is so beautiful, sexy, and Confident. Well I met this guy I like online but before I met him I started using her photos. Then this girl confronted me and told me she knew I was a ‘fake’ I took them down and posted a real one of me. However the guy found out I was faking and was mad. The girl who ‘outed’ me posted the real girls youtube, tumblr, twitter and facebook links. She even took the time to post my ‘fake’ profile link with the girl commenting I’m sure to embarrass me. I feel like this girl is so ‘perfect’ and over the top gorgeous. She is also Very confident! I’m not ugly but How can I compete with that? I am clearly lacking from self esteem. If he doesn’t talk to me again I guess I’ll assume it’s because he wants her and not me. I really like him alot. Should I just give up and not talk to him anymore? How can I be confident like that?
But in a way you are. You didn’t run & hide when this girl became cruel and mean. You continued with your profile and it takes a lot of guts to do that.
She isn’t perfect. She’s horrible in the personality department but in a way, she had a point. Using her pic without permission wasn’t a smart thing to do.
I think you focus on your strengths and stand by your convictions. Have integrity. Mean what you say, and say what you mean. And focus on real life and don’t spend so much time on the internet. Anyone can do that. Living a real life is more of a challenge. Good luck.
