Help me like twitter!?
I signed up for twitter and am trying to understand it. I follow 5 people whom are all celebrities. They do not follow me, I responded to a tweet from Howard stern but realized that he must get thousands if responses so the chances of him responding to me are slim.
1.Can he even see my response if he isn’t following me?
2.when someone resets why can’t I see what other people think about that tweet?
3. Am I supposed to use twitter to communicate with friends like facebook or just strangers?
4.I have no followers since I dint know anyone how can I get followers?
5. No use tweeting if I dint have any followers?
Any tips or insight on twitter would really be appreciated. I am using mostly twitter on iPhone if that helps. Thanks
Twitter is a social network. So that means you should get “social” and let yourself be known to others. Tell some of your friends that you have a twitter so that they may follow you. Also, don’t restrict yourself to celebrities. Understand that they have thousands, even millions, of followers and can’t keep track. There’s nothing wrong with following strangers. Just watch yourself.
And another thing, don’t a nice profile pic of yourself. Don’t use something dumb like a ball or tree (yes i have seen those before). Just put a really nice headshot of yourself.
