There are issues at games that probably should be addressed, but did she go about it the correct way?
I know some reading this will automatically answer “It’s just a women’s game”. So then I would ask you to put a penis on each player in your imagination and look at the situation again with that new and fresh approach.
There’s @ssholes everywhere, in every sport…and it’s still a free country, if she wants to rant on Twitter then let her…I personally don’t tweet and could care less if anyone else does, but I read the article trying to figure out what the fan club was doing that incensed her, it must’ve been pretty bad.
There is a lot of subtle racism in Boston, much as I hate to admit it. And of course, sexism is rampant in this society, I’m sure she’ll be taking some heat because she is a woman. There is definately a double standard in this society…it would probably be OK for guys to do it.
