Check HTML CODE to align Navigation?
having a slight issue with updating my webpage, my dream weaver is down, and i need to make changes to the page so i am just looking at the html text to make changes.
what i am needing to do is to align my *Navigation bar* – *Twitter* *NEWS FEED* to the center of the page, as, if you have a large screen it seams to be getting dragged to the left, were as the logo generally always stays in the middle of the page no matter how big yoru screen is,
i no this is only a small thing i need to change but dont no what? and before you ask no it isnt align-center
view the source from the page www.ddouble-d.com and let me no were you think the change needs to be done and what from/to
So i have done what you have mentioned – and saved the file but no changes have been made to teh webpage? any other things i shall need to fo to get it to work?
Yea as per usual with dreamweaver there are craplets all over the place on the page, but the simplest solution appears to be:
find your /css/global.css file and change the #newcontainer to the following:
#newcontainer {
position: relative;
width: 1000px;
background-color: #000;
margin:0 auto;
}
PS. Save the original file before changing it so you can revert if the change does not work for all your pages
