Will the Egyptian’s Tea Party protests kill Democracy in Egypt and create a Far Right Muslim run State?
People in Egypt have created their own version of the Tea Party movement, mostly made up of Anti-Government folk, and young Facebook and Twitter activists. Like the Tea Party folk here,. they dislike their Government spending or lack of spending and say they are fighting for freedom.
Will Egypt fall into Right Wing Egyptian Muslim elements or will Mubarak call for change and survive the grassroots movement? Some of the protesters seen are “armed and dangerous” and burning cars and buildings. Is this a fringe movement and just generalized hatred of the President or is this a revolution by the majority?
Egypt is already a far-right theocracy. The difference is that Hosni Mubarak only uses religion when it fits his personal goals. If the protests succeed we will see another Iran
