A few days ago I got a new hard drive for my laptop, with the old one I could access Twitter just fine…?
but with the new one It Closes all windows after I sign in, and I’m on a MacBook, so I get the troubleshooting error thingy, I was wondering if there’s something like flash player that i need to download in order to run it better? or is there something wrong with the site? (my Mac is accepting cookies at the moment) And then like at YouTube I can’t read my mail, it never loads, i’m thinking they’re connected. Does anyone think it’s the hard drive’s fault? or is it just something I need to download?
Thanks
Hello Emma,
It appears that the new hard drive is “causing” the issue, as this happens because a new drive does not contain the necessary files or programs to open the sites you are visiting. Please make sure you download and install the following:

Follow these guidelines for enabling java, javascript, and cookies:
1. Enable Java
You will need to have Java software installed in order for certain sites to function properly. Follow these steps:
* Test for Java. See if you can load a java applet of this puzzle or this magic cube. We link to two applets because the sites are occasionally not available. If you can’t access one, try the other.
* If you don’t see the puzzle or cube, you must download a Java software update for Mac.
o Download and install the latest version of Java for Mac OS X.
In addition, you will need to perform the following adjustments:
Safari
1.
From the Safari menu, select Preferences
2.
In the top pane, select Security
3.
Next to Web Content, make sure the Enable Java checkbox is selected
4.
Close the pop-up window.
2. Enable Javascript
Safari
1.
From the Safari menu, select Preferences
2.

3. Enable Cookies
