Black screen during laptop boot. Help!?
I have an hp laptop and lately it has not been able to boot properly. It loads the HP logo screen and then goes completely black. Not even a cursor. I have tried getting into Safe Mode and all sorts of things but nothing happens at all. After I pick the Safe Mode option, it goes right back to the black screen. Can’t get to the desktop. Nothing. HP screen then black screen, as said before. I have Windows XP. The strange thing is, I used a different laptop in the same power source since the other wasnt booting, and the SAME thing started happening to it. WTH. I have not downloaded anything and have only gone to my school website, youtube, yahoo and twitter. That’s all. This is really driving me insane so any help would be appreciated.
your school website might not have been protected by antivirus and therefore getting a virus. get a Professional immediately (if there is a virus) or it can spread to all computers on your home network or school network
