why do my web browsers take me to pages i didnt click?
this is two questions really, just pretty much the same;
when i click on links on my laptop, half of the time it takes me to a completely different page, peoples (i don’t knows) myspace’s, imdb, myspace/comedy seems to be a favourite though. when i click a link, the address appears in the bar, then an i.p. address then the different page. it only does this on my laptop and the links seem to be fine on my desktop computer.
also, on my phone (o2′s xda stellar, running windows), when i click a link it re-directs me to skweezer.com ‘s search engine, regardless of what i click on. probably worth mentioning that i had never herd of this website until it started doing this. the majority of times i click a link is from posts on twitter, i am using tinytwitter application on my phone.
any help whatsoever is much appreciated.

It seems you are infected with adware. Your phone runs windows and is therefore capable of being infected as well. Lavasoft makes a great free tool for removal of adware called ad-aware. Spybot Search and Destroy may be handy too. These programs check for things most anti-virus programs don’t. (i don’t know if these will run on your phone or not though.) Adware is generally harmless, it’s just annoying. It will take you to wierd websites, when you want to go elsewhere. It also has a tendency to reset your homepage.
