Replacements for TweetDeck?
I heard that TweetDeck and some other twitter clients use up A LOT of memory and use Adobe Air which has some problems or something? What are some other twitter clients similar to TweetDeck that don’t use Adobe Air and such? I have a PC with Windows XP if that helps. Please answer kindly and as detailed as possible. Thank you.
There are many applications you can use with Twitter, some are advertised on Twitter’s site, but only the more popular ones. I prefer to use Twitterfox… it’s a Twitter application compatible with Mozilla Firefox. I also use TweetDeck, but I haven’t experienced any problems with it so far? I have a laptop (PC) that runs on Vista, and a desktop (also PC) at home that runs on Windows XP, and I haven’t experienced these memory problems. It could be that they were running low on memory to begin with, but to be completely sure, I would have to actually see the problem. I hope this helps, and good luck in your search!
