
Twitter background help?
i am looking to design a background for twitter…what would be the ideal image size to work with so it looks good on all monitors? thank!
Well a twitter page is designed to fit for a minimum of resolution 800×600 but at the very least I’d recommend you design to 1024×768. Becoming more popular is the 1280×1024 resolution for standard 19″ monitors but don’t forget widescreen users using 1440×900.
To sum up, I would go for about the 1280pixels wide (covers most users) and then about 850pixels high (remembering that there is the top toolbar of the browser to consider so that takes off about 200px)
