Can you have multiple live emails on a windows 7 phone?
I recently got an HTC Surround for AT&T. Now, the problem is, I share this phone with my girlfriend. She has a live email and gamertag, as do I. We both have facebook and twitter also.
I was hoping to find out if there was a way to have profiles on a windows 7 phone, so when she uses it she just clicks her name and it’ll load her stuff, and when I use it I just click my name. We currently have no email set up on the phone because it wouldn’t be fair for 1 to have they’re stuff on it and the other not to, and because of this we can’t get apps or anything cause you HAVE to have a live email set up on it.
As said, you can not have multiple profiles.
However, WP7 does allow you to setup multiple email accounts. I have three – home, office, and a Windows Live account. They appear on separate tiles and aren’t combined. Obviously, you need separate email accounts — from a service provider or free emails from Windows Live, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc.
That’s about the only good news. You obviously only have one phone number and set of text messages (tied to the phone number). You only have one contacts list — although you can pin individual contacts to your start screen. Facebook integration is to only one profile as is (I believe) the Facebook and Twitter applications.
I’m not sure how sharing a phone works with a girl friend? How do you phone her?
