Do you have to pay to use free iPhone 3Gs apps?
I just got an iPhone 3G S today. This is my first iPhone. I am thinking about getting the apps for Facebook, twitter & the free MSN one. When you download them do you have to pay to use them once you have them, or are they actually completely free? I have a 500MB Data plan & also wifi which I have connected to my home wireless connection.
Thanks so much for the help, I’m really confused & I don’t want to end up charging myself a whole bunch of money.
Also, if you buy an app that is $0.99 do you have to pay it monthly? Or is it a one time fee?
If you want to download a free app, you don’t need to pay anything for it. You will, however, need to have an iTunes store account. In addition, if you download the apps over your carrier’s network (and not you home wifi network), the data usage will count against your 500 MB plan limit.
