Blackberry Torch 9600 help

I just got the white blackberry torch 9800 two days ago after I got a plan upgrade. I have a data plan but my bbm, app world, facebook app, and twitter app aren’t working. They just says You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application (I thought you just needed a data plan for these apps) . I can go on the browser and internet but the other stuff won’t work. All my bbm requests just say pending and when my friend and I scan eachothers bar codes, it says contact already exists. HELP ME BECAUSE ITS PISSING ME OFF D’:
you do need a blackberry data plan in addition to any other internet plan to use apps bbm etc. call your service provider for advice.
