Camera app on my iPhone won’t take photos. Help?
I have an iPhone 4, it used to work perfectly fine but now the camera thing is being weird.
Just to clearify – there is nothing wrong with the actual camera, that still works fine, it’s the camera app that doesn’t work.
If I for example go on twitter and click the “take photo” option, I can take photos and save them and everything.
But if I click on “camera” (the app that comes with the phone, not something I downloaded) it starts up and I can see through the camera and everything, but when I click on the thing to take a picture, nothing happens.
It used to work normally just yesterday, but now it doesn’t.
Again, the problem isn’t the camera, just the camera app.
Does anyone know what’s wrong? How can I fix it? Has this happened to you? Is it a common problem or just my phone?

I can’t delete the app, it comes with the phone. It’s one of the basic things you can’t delete.
Try re-starting your device, turn off your device (completely, as in hold the power button then slide to power off) then turn it back on. Then try launching your default camera app. If that still does not help, you may have to try re-storing factory settings and check if that works out for you. (Caution: All data could get wiped off, so do take a back-up)
If this does not help, try getting your phone checked at a Apple Store close-by.
