Are android phones able to use Facebook Texts?
I have an LG Ally, which is an Android phone. I only have 150MB’s a month. It isn’t that much for me because I download stuff, I go on Twitter, Facebook, Dailybooth, Youtube and I download apps that need internet usage when you use them. So yeah, it isn’t much.
I thought that maybe to give me more MB’s and not waste them on Facebook, I could use the Facebook Text Messages where Facebook texts you who comments, tags, etc on your page and you can put status’s WITHOUT using internet usage.
The stupid thing is, I tried setting it up but whenever I followed the directions it wouldn’t send me a confirmation code. I tried so many times and it didn’t work.
So are android phones able to use Facebook Texts?
If they CANT and theres a way too be able to, could you tell me?
If they CAN, than what am I doing wrong?

Well the phone itself has nothing to do with the texts (unless your phone isn’t working). It could be Android, Blackberry, etc., it doesn’t matter. It depends on the Carrier. If your cell phone carrier is listed, then you can. I’m not able to do that because my carrier isn’t supported.
