how can i advertise my ebay items without breaking their rules?
i am new to selling items on ebay. And i was wondering what’s the different ways i can advertise my items for sale on ebay, off-site. i know you can share the items on twitter, facebook. but can you do other things like say. if your selling fine china, can you go to a forum of china collectors and post a link to your items, or is that bad? what about if i posted my items in a chat room and asked people to buy them, so i can buy a house? is that against their rules? whats the right way and whats the wrong way? thanks
Ebay isn’t going to care, but the people in the forums or the chat rooms might. They’re there to TALK and DISCUSS things, not to be subjected to advertising.
Every forum and chat site have their own rules. Check the rules of the ones you’re interested in before you start spamming them.
