I want to start a magazine, can you give me some information?
I am looking to start a magazine specificly for teenagers I have googled alot of the info I hace now but there are some things I cant find answers to
1. what kind of glue is used
2. what kind of paper is used
3. what is a good price to sell it for
4. how much does it cost to have it printed (is there any way I can do that myself)
5. what is a good way to advertise my magazine
and I want to start a website to get feedback and input from the community I want it to be like a myspcae/twitter type website how would I go about doing that
I understand there are some things that I may not want to hear but I need to so any information you have for me good or bad would be great and I would appreciate it

When you refer to glue and paper, are you planning on printing this magazine yourself, or taking it to a traditional printers for a more professional approach? If so then they will advise on paper weight and there will be no need to consider glue.
There are two options for your magazine – charging readers for their copy or having local companies pay to advertise inside it and as such giving the magazine away to readers for free.
If you decide to self print the magazine will look really bad quality. I would recommend that you get it professionally printed, but cost depends on the amount of pages in your first issue.
For the website question you are better off asking a web designer – that’s not something I am very experienced in, but I hope the rest of my answers help you.
