How does twitter work I just don’t get it?
I’m so confused about this thing what am I suppose to do or to write following what exactly is following
You basically just tweet/write about what you’re doing. When I first started I kind of thought of it like the status update thing on Facebook, except.. different.
Twitter is supposedly known as a “micro-blog”, so what you tweet about is like what’s going on in your day or what you’re thinking about or whatever, in less than 140 characters.
Following is like “friending” people I guess you could say, except when you follow someone, they dont necessarily have to follow you back unless they want to. When you’re signed in, you can visit anybody’s twitter page and click the +Follow button right underneath their picture, and bam, you’re following them! Then whenever you check back on your twitter homepage, you see status updates from the people you’re following.

Took me a a day or two to get twitter also, but now it’s so easy and I love it!
Oh, and if you want to tweet a friend or something, and lets say your friend’s twitter username was johndoe, you tweet @johndoe and then write your message afterwards. to send a direct message (one that doesnt show up on your twitter page), you write d johndoe. get it?
