If smart phones are so powerful now why do they still lack software wise so much?
People want to use there phones as a mobile office, however smart phones still lack the right apps to do so. Smart phones have been around for like 5 years. What’s the wait? I know they always say there are SO many apps but none actually get any work done unless some how your work only requires emails,Facebook,twitter or play stocks. Smart phones are social yes they can play stocks yes and they play games yes mostly more than anything really.. But do they actually get or will ever get any real work done?
You do know that Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 has Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Apple’s iOS has iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) on their respective phone offerings right? And as far as the remaining you can use the web based Google Docs, Microsoft’s own web based system, Apple’s upcoming iWork system & there is an app suite called QuickOffice as well available on multiple platforms.
