How to quickly elininate non-followers from the list of people I follow?
In the old twitter, I used to go through the list of people I followed and determine who followed me by seeing if I could send a message to them. This way, I could un-follow with two quick clicks and no page change, anyone who did not follow me. Now in the new twitter the ‘Send a Message’ function has been eliminated in the options list beside each person I follow. Now I can’t figure out a quick way to eliminate the nonfollowers in the list of people I follow. Any suggestions?
Listen tweet central, it’s none of you business who I follow or why or when I stop following them. So that’s the reason you eliminated the ‘Send Message’ function–that’s what I suspected. Of course I follow people because they interest me. If they’re not interested enough in my tweets to follow me back, why should I follow them–we have nothing in common. Hypocrite, you’re only concerned about volume.
You don’t. You follow people because you’re genuinely interested in what they have to say and you WANT to follow them, not because you think they’ll follow you back. The same goes in reverse: if people aren’t interested in what you have to say enough to follow you, you shouldn’t take that as a slight; it’s simply that your information isn’t useful (enough) to them, given the time they have available.
