Blackberry Internet Connection Problem…please help?
I’m on pay as you go orange network and i have a blackberry curve 8520.
I just topped up my phone for the second time since i got it and i’ve been charged the £5 for my free Internet but when i try and get on the internet or on my twitter or facebook app i can’t because for example on the twitter app i get the message ‘twitter services are currently unavailable’ and for the normal browser i get the message ‘unable to connect to the internet please try again later…’
Also i checked on ‘manage connections’ and next to the WI-FI connection to the right it says ON in green letters but then in the box to the right there is a white line and not a green tick like i think there should be..
please could someone help me and tell me how i can connect to the internet?

I am going to be honest with you, It wont work. The reason why is because Blackberry has a DEAL signed with all mobile phone companies stating that you need to have a full DATA PLAN for you to access the apps features like GMAIL, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, APP STORE. Wifi will only let you surf the internet browser nothing else
i am a cellphone technician and have had many customers come in frustrated with this same issue.
