How do you know celebrities actually manage their own Twitter pages and tweets?
I’m a Facebook addict (been on it since 2004), but I haven’t jumped on the Twitter bandwagon yet. I hear celebrities talking about how they send out their own tweets on TV (like Ashton Kutcher and the Kardashians). A lot of my friends are on Twitter to follow celebrities. My question is how do they really know it’s the celebrities who are actually sending out the tweets and not their assistants or PR people? A lot of these celebrities also have profiles and pages on Facebook and Myspace now, but it’s so obvious they have other people managing their online social networks.
Celebrities are capable of tweeting themselves. It’s not hard. And plus most of the time their tweets are beyond stupid and no PR person would ever approve of it.
