What’s the deal with Twitter?
is it like the new myspace or facebook? I was talking to a friend about how nobody on my friends list uses myspace for keeping in touch any more, just for w4w, pc4pc, or random “11 things” surveys that kill your best friend and render you to a life of celibacy… then how facebook is out of control with apps and “1,000,000 STRONG AGAINST HANNAH MONTANA/HILLARY CLINTON/MCCAIN/BRITNEY SPEARS/ETC ETC” groups… and then the good ole days when xanga was what everyone used, then we all actually got old enough to use it so we had to lie about our age again to get a myspace cuz now THAT was cool and yeahhh. then she said that twitter is up and coming, and at this point i refuse to set up another account and do my about me/interests/music/books/movies ALL OVER AGAIN only to find out that oh, nobody uses Twitter anymore, now its something else….
so what are your opinions on Twitter?

I agree with you about the ’1,000,000 strong’ groups on facebook. I don’t get it. People I know think its all about how many ‘friends’ you can add, some of them have over 1000… But then I asked ‘do you really know all of them’ and theyre like ‘no’ ?? i dont get it. I’ve made a facebook to talk to my overseas friends and family and people I don’t even know have started adding me.
I heard that Facebook was the new Myspace, and then I got invited to xanga, my yearbook, twitter and a whole heap of other things I have no idea about. lol
I have stuck with facebook because thats what everyones using… for the moment… haha p.s. Im in Australia so who knows what the next big thing will be
