NEED HELP WITH BLACKBERRY BOLD 9700???? I just got one.?
Please help me out.
How do you set the date and time (every time I try it says something about setting an alarm)
If I want to send just a normal text – what do I use? (when I go to SMS or MSM it comes up like chat)
I want to download the Facebook & twitter app. Do I do it via my computer or use the web on the phone?
To set the date/time, you can go to Options and then Date/Time. Your phone should automatically be set at the correct date/time, but you can change the timezones and whatnot from there. To send a normal text, you’d use SMS. MMS is for picture messages. The 9700′s texts are set up like a chat-thread now instead of the format from before. I hated it at first, but I’m used to it now. There’s no way to change it, unfortunately. So you’re probably doing it right, it’s just a bit different. And to download Facebook & Twitter, you can either go to the sites from your phone (facebook.com, twitter.com) and it automatically detects what kind of phone you have, so the option to download the apps should be right there. Or, you can go to http://appworld.blackberry.com from your phone too, and just search for Facebook & Twitter and you can download the apps from there.
