iPhone 4 or HTC Desire?
I have had my heart set on an Iphone 4 for a while now and recently I have come across an HTC Desire.
Okay, I would like your opinions on what phone is better but first, I would like to tell you what I would mostly be using my phone for:
-Music & Videos (I would be using my phone like an Ipod or MP3 player too)
-Apps
-Calls and Texting (Obviously)
-Photos
-Facebook, youtube
The plan I would be getting would include 700MB of data for each phone and free facebook and twitter on the HTC (Which I would use alot) I am aware that I would need to purchase a micro sd card to keep music, videos and photos all on the HTC as it does not have much memory.
HTC Desire. I’m getting one tomorrow as well.
iPhone is nice I guess… but as some people already mentioned, you’re mostly paying for the name of the brand and not the device itself.
1. The only pro about iPhone is its App store. But Android is catching up fast, so it’s simply a matter of time than money.
2. More over, iPhone’s glassy case is really vulnerable to drops and cracks easily (check youtube if you don’t believe me).
3. Desire has a bigger screen (3.7″) compared to iPhone’s 3.5″
4. Android (Desire’s operating system) is more open source than iOS, thus you’re most likely to find the Android app store much more convenient and less game-orientated.
5. You can’t store widgets on the iOS home screen, whilst you can on Android.
Overall, I believe that the iPhone is but an accessory, like your stylish watch or purse. But in terms of convenience and functionality, HTC is your best bet.
