Why did Sarah Palin say she could have prevented WikiLeaks?
On Monday, Nov 27th Sarah Palin sent the following Tweet to about 317,000 Twitter followers:
“Inexplicable: I recently won in court to stop my book “America by Heart” from being leaked, but US Govt can’t stop Wikileaks’ treasonous act?”
Doesn’t Palin realize the federal government (by design) lacks the legal power to silence WikiLeaks? Is she ignorant of what powers the federal government actually has in this context?
Jake, you’re kidding, right? Go to Twitter.com, and search that phrase. Better yet, go to any new website (CNN, FOX, CBS, BBC, Reuters, etc.) and search it.
Tinker: Totalitarian governments in Iran and North Korea agree with you.
I wish that the people who keep saying it doesn’t matter what Sarah Palin says because she is stupid would study up on the very real dangers of populist politics.
