Help w/ Twitter!!!!!?
i don’t understand any of it…where to start?
i get following people, and how to update your tweets but heres some questions i need answered…
difference between reply, retweet, and a regular tweet?
can you delete a tweet from you account? like on facebook you can remove somethig from your wall
anyway to set your comment on a celebrity’s page private so noone sees it?
what does the thing off the side do, it says @(then your screen name)?
also what are lists (like when it says yourscreenname has X amount of listed items, on your profile page, celebrities tend to have a lot!
do you get updates when someone reply/retweets (whatever the difference is)?
please answer these questions, and also please leave any and all other relevant information You think might help me, thank you!…this is obviously why im a facebooker not a tweeter =S
Vocabulary:
regular tweet – like when you update
reply- comment on someone else’s tweet
retweet- idk
delete a tweet- roll over tweet and click trash icon
@(screen name) – that’s a reply. If you wanna reply to someone just type in @(their screen name) and then write your reply after that in your tweet box
there are different lists: followers, following, about me, contact me list, I think your talking about either followers or following. Celebrities usually follow their friends btw.
um no. You have to check your replies. theres a little buttton that says @Replies so you can check your replys. no updates
If you wanna talk to JUST that one person without everyone seeing, just private message them
